Reach 10K/Month in 2024 with These 4 NEW Methods
Someone on Instagram asked me:
“JP we need a fresh list of side hustles you can do in 2024”
I told him that I would write an email about my top 4 ways to make money that in my opinion are the most powerful to utilize in 2024
So here they are!
This email is packed with value so make sure to read until the end.
Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is a basic one but it IS the way to make money as a complete beginner.
Here is why:
-Does not require any startup capital
-You don’t need to show your face (You don’t need to but if you do it is better)
-All you need is an audience
Why do I think it’s a good way? Affiliate marketing allows you to make money without needing to fulfill a product. That product is already good and completed! Your ONLY job is finding the best affiliate product to affiliate with and then creating content around it.
For example: have you seen those funny tiktoks with a product, someone playing with some product on TikTok and making it a funny video? Well, that’s affiliate marketing.
E com product affiliate marketing is one of the most effective ways to make money since you can create entertaining content with the e-commerce product that you sell.
Your MAIN job as an affiliate marketer is FINDING the right product to affiliate with. (Market testing)
Content Creation
This is in my opinion the best way to make money, the highest leverage activity you can do, and a way of making money that will not only make you loads of money, BUT will also take your overhead costs on your lifestyle significantly down and make networking a really easy thing to do.
Now here’s the caveat to being a content creator, unless you have an already preexisting audience that knows who you are. It will take some time for those who don’t know you to learn who you are and then want to buy your products.
The Magic that comes with being a content creator is that no money needs to be spent on market research. Ultimately you build an audience, learn about your audience, and talk to them, then you create an offer based on the feedback that you receive from the audience. In that way you spend 0$ on researching how to find product market fit, ALL you need to do is talk to the audience and you can find their problems and prescribe a solution.
The process of creating content will for sure require someone to be creative and ALWAYS think about how to break the boundaries, and that’s the challenging part. Being creative.
The way to make money as a creator can be done by selling your product, affiliating with someone’s product, selling IRL events, promoting someone’s company, selling a physical product, and even creating your own SAAS application.
I’d say being a content creator is for sure one of the harder paths, but the MOST rewarding for sure.
You will need to create content daily, post content, post stories, take pictures everywhere, and write really good copy.
The rewarding piece is that, in the end, you can live completely on your terms, location-independent, time-free, and financially free.
As a content creator, you’re also given gifts and sponsorship opportunities to promote their products through your audience. The main thing is that once you’ve got an audience, you’re pretty much free to do whatever the fuck you want (lol).
Personal Brand Consultant
A personal brand consultant helps a content creator with any of these domains: Gaining traffic with ads, building organic reach, creating digital products, consulting for revenue growth, connecting him with other influencers, building SAAS applications if needed, suggesting affiliate marketing opportunities, helping with a buildout of an e-commerce, and more.
Now as you can see, there are many different ways that you can target creators and help them make more money and become more well-connected.
There is a new phenomenon called the “broke influencer pandemic” (Lol), this applies to most influencers who know how to gain attention, but they do not know how to monetize that attention. This is where you can jump in and help them out, I can assure you… I know LOTS of influencers who might seem to be “rich” but genuinely are starving for money.
You can start as a personal brand consultant and get clients through outreach, networking, or reaching out to those whom you might already know (Please don’t reach out to me lol, trust me I’ve got enough money)
Normally you would step in and take a portion of their revenue, for example: You take 10% of their revenue that is brought from their coaching sales.
I would recommend this way if and ONLY if you do not have a personal brand yet and want to build that experience into this sphere. Ultimately the highest form of leverage is being the creator itself and I’ve gone through a period in my life being a consultant.
A really important aspect of being a consultant is that you need to motivate him and keep him on his toes because if he slows down, you’d take a hit on your income since you’re in a rev share agreement.
This method of making money is recommended if you’re a beginner at the game, you’ve potentially tried a few other ways of making money, but you understand the gist of sales and marketing.
Growth Consulting
This method of making money might be more on the advanced level. So if you’re a beginner in the money space I’d recommend going with affiliate marketing or Personal brand consulting.
Have you ever gone on a company’s web page and then checked their socials looked at their financials and told yourself? This company can do MUCH better… Well, this is the premise of being a growth consultant.
Growth consulting is the action of consulting a company on their growth, normally GC’s (Growth Consultants) target a specific sector or commerce. For example: Being a growth consultant for SAAS companies, helping them create their brand identity and create content.
This method of making money normally entails a starting fee and a rev share structure, where you’d be incentivized to grow the company. Once a contract is agreed upon then you’re in charge of putting systems in place. It is VITAL to ensure the company owners understand the expectations and where you will be putting your man power into the company.
Normally GC’s have teams of people/contractors that have great skill sets in a few domains (Marketing, sales, content creation, etc…). A big recommendation for any of those who want to get in this space is that you NEED to train the CEO on creating content since that’s also a moving pillar to the growth of the company.
A GC can also tap into helping them merge companies, raise capital, outsource pieces of the business, etc…
Literally, any place that a GC finds a deficiency, they can walk into that piece of the business and fix it.
Growth consulting is a big industry. EXTREMELY big. Since companies take a long time to make strategic changes and adapt to the new world, a GC can come in and order those changes to immediately increase its market value.
Which method would you go for or seems most appealing? |
