IRL GTA

Today, I want to share something that has profoundly impacted my life: the importance of maturing as quickly as possible.

I like to think of life as a game of GTA.

When you're in your teens and early 20s, you're just starting out in the game.

You don't have access to the full map, the quests, or the roadmaps.

These early years are your introduction, and the sooner you mature, the sooner you can fully engage with life and achieve your goals.

Many people believe that their early 20s are a time to slow down and enjoy life, using youth as an excuse to delay growth and improvement. This mindset is a trap.

It's often perpetuated by those who have settled for a life of mediocrity, working nine-to-five jobs and regretting the lost time as they get older.

I urge you to mature as quickly as you can.

The faster you get access to the full map of life, the quicker you can start playing the game seriously.

I was one of those who matured quickly. In high school, I didn't fit into any specific friend group because my interests were different.

While others talked about trivial matters, I was focused on self-improvement, money, and business. This mindset set me up for success in my 20s.

I know people who matured slowly, old friends from high school who are still in university or working basic jobs.

They haven’t started their own businesses or pursued their dreams.

Society often encourages slow maturation, keeping us from unlocking the full potential of life until it's too late.

Universities extend four-year degrees to six or seven years, wasting precious time. They don't want you to unlock the map of life too early because they want you to be a part of the system. By the time you finish, it's often too late to start something new, like entrepreneurship.

If you want to excel in life, you need to start playing the game early.

The quicker you get into it, the sooner you can become the best version of yourself. There's no downside to gaining experience early on.

The basics of life can be learned while you're actively engaged, not just through theoretical knowledge taught in universities.

I dropped out of university because I found it to be full of useless theory.

Real learning comes from applying what you know, not just understanding concepts in a classroom.

Start engaging with life now.

The sooner you do, the better you'll be equipped to handle whatever comes your way and achieve your dreams.
