Compounding Momentum
I want to share a pivotal lesson from my journey, one that underscores the importance of keeping the momentum when things start to click.
This is a story from my early sales days, a time when I first tasted significant success and learned a crucial lesson about persistence.
Back when I was selling products through Tate's website, I experienced a whirlwind of success. I was very young, handling live chat sales, and things were just starting to take off.
After Tate’s collaboration with Aiden Ross, the website went viral, and the demand for products skyrocketed. I was closing 10, 20, even 50 deals per hour.
Every single second, a new lead would pop up, and it was exhilarating.
During this time, I was in Alicante with my friend Ahmed.
He asked me, “You’re the highest converting salesman. When you're making so much money and closing so many deals, don’t you want to stop and think about it?”
My answer was simple: No.
When the money is pouring in, you cannot afford to stop.
It might seem obvious, but when something is working, you need to double down. This principle applies to everything, including content creation.
If a specific type of content is resonating with your audience, keep producing it.
This is about finding what’s known as product-market fit. When people want what you’re offering, you have to capitalize on it.
Don’t pause. Don’t hesitate. Keep pushing.
This is the market telling you that you’re on the right track.
I see this often with personal branding too.
Some people get one viral video and then switch to a completely different style or topic for their next post.
Listen, once you find what works, you need to keep doing it. Consistency is key. Keep hammering on that product-market fit.
When you start seeing results, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or think it’s too good to be true. But that’s precisely when you need to keep going.
The market is telling you that you’re doing something right, so keep at it.
So, whether you’re closing deals, creating content, or building your brand, remember this: when you find success, don’t stop.
Keep pushing, keep working, and keep growing.
Stay driven and keep moving forward.
Go Kill It Man
